Jonny Oldballs & Nuclear Attak Support DOA at the Vat

Much like skateboarding, the punk rock sub-culture is something that anyone involved, never really leaves. Canadian punk legends DOA are undoubted proof of this. For more than 35 years DOA have been heavily involved with not only the punk scene but the skateboarding culture that goes so well along with it.

October 8, 2015 was the Red Deer stop on DOA’s most recent cross-Canada tour. Oldballs co-founder Jonny’s band Nuclear Attak were the local support for the night. As the venue filled with elbow tipping punks and skaters Jonny’s excitement increased, whether his excitement was for the bands or for the skateboards he recalled DOA selling at previous events is unsure.

With a mixture of young and old, skaters and punks, the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by every beer soaked misfit in the room.
